Project context
ITAS, a technical institute for safe water, needed to hear young people and communities from different territories about the reality of water and sanitation.
Need
Give those contributions back to the public without exposing participants and without publishing anything unreviewed.
Project scope
- Backend with a public and an admin API and an OpenAPI contract
- Admin panel for moderation and content
- Installable app (PWA), with submissions with or without an account
- Movement website in Portuguese, English and Spanish
Delivered solution
A full cycle: in the app, people send their contribution with text, photos, audio and location; the team moderates it in the panel; and what is approved appears on the website wall, filtered by theme and territory.
Technical highlights
- Multi-tenant platform, with no rule tied to this project
- Website, app and panel talk only through an API with an OpenAPI contract and an own TypeScript SDK
- Privacy by default: the published location is never more precise than the municipality
- Clean Architecture, with Supabase (Postgres with RLS and Edge Functions) behind adapters
